Flu can leave even healthy adults unwell for a week or more, and it's easily passed on to family, friends and colleagues. Our private flu vaccination service is for adults who aren't eligible for a free NHS flu jab. We use this season's trivalent vaccine, which is updated every year to match the flu strains expected to circulate. In line with current 2026/27 UK guidance, we offer a cell-cultured vaccine, one of the types recommended for adults under 65. A trained pharmacist gives your vaccination in a private consultation room. It usually takes about 10 minutes, including a short health check beforehand. Protection builds over about two weeks, so it's best to get vaccinated in the autumn, before flu starts spreading. You can book online or just walk in. If you're 65 or over, pregnant, a carer, or have a long-term health condition, you may be able to get your flu jab free on the NHS. Just ask and we'll check for you.
